Let's not imitate the Europeans

Let’s not imitate the Europeans
By Ramon Arias

Many are amazed that Barack Hussein Obama had a “rock superstar” reception in Germany with more than 200,000 people in attendance. Not all of us were surprised. It was to be expected given all the orchestration it took to put it together. Never in the history of United States of America has a presidential candidate had such similar ideological and philosophical views with Western Europe like Barack Obama.

Why weren't some of us surprised? Because we have been following and studying the social destruction of the Europeans who since the beginning of the 19th century began to embrace secular religion and reject God and the Bible.

In the 20th century and thus far in the 21st century, Christianity began to be attacked heavily at all levels in public and private. Those who aspired to political positions in the EU, but professed the Christian faith and affirmed that abortion and homosexual behavior are unacceptable could not withstand the attacks from the media and others, and were torn to shreds.

According to the Pew Research Center, only 11% percent of the French, 21% Germans and 33% British say that religion is very important in their lives. We must remember that Europe professed the Christian faith for many centuries.

What happened to Christians in Europe? They stopped believing in the biblical perspective and adopted atheistic humanism which turned into the new religion of the European continent beginning in the 19th century. These are the same ideas that now dominate United States of America. Some of these are Charles Darwin’s ideas which affirm that the natural world is all there is. Karl Marx focused on materialism and said that the spiritual world was a fiction of imagination of the human mind, in other words, an illusion. We should not overlook Comte and his ideas of positivism which affirmed that the empirical scientific perspective is the only way we should look at the world. Many people who are destroying the world today are using the recycled ideas of those mentioned above.

These ideas were formulated to erase God and biblical principles from people’s minds as the only source of truth for human liberty, the right to private property and dignity.

The two world wars that devastated Europe are the direct result of these material and humanistic ideas. Europeans, instead of rejecting these destructive perspectives and recognizing and embracing the moral biblical foundation for their social institutions to have a constant source of hope for the future, opted to ignore their biblical roots that gave life to the European civilization.

The dehumanization allowed in Europe is very shocking simply because they only want to live selfishly and for the moment. These are the consequences that will continue because of a blatant rejection of God.

Europe is having what the experts call "death birth" since the majority of the European countries are way below the reproductive birth rate and run the risk of extinction. Demographic studies show that Europe had not been so depopulated since the black plague devastated them in the 14th century. In other words, Europeans are not creating the next generation. The sad news for Europeans is that vacuums do not exist so it is now being populated by Islamic immigrants. In France alone, in 25 years the Muslim population will be the majority.

Europe has bent over backward to create a tolerant, civil and democratic civilization but in the process they have destroyed the foundation that gave them their greatness; the biblical convictions that give each individual their identity and worth. Europe's failure and destruction is evident for all to see.

There are many politicians in United States of America who want to cultivate European ideology and philosophy. They take advantage when they arrive at a political post to implement these seeds of European destruction. The media is also to blame as the culprit of spreading these ideas through mass communication, as well as entertainment, academia, literature and science.
As we can see, we would do well here in America to revert back to our biblical roots. Let’s remember the best system implemented by the Pilgrims and Puritans for private, family, public and civil government life. The legacy they left for generations to enjoy produced such wonderful results that mother England tried to take advantage, more than 150 years after the arrival of the Pilgrims, but that generation of Christians in the 13 colonies vehemently refused to become Europeans. And it was that generation that birthed a whole new Christian society called the United States of America.

They created a biblical nation to continue the vision of those early settlers that came to these shores. They believed they were fulfilling a divine purpose and that focus dominated all of their efforts. The result was a nation with freedom to worship God without government intervention. Biblical principles can be found in all of the social development and conditions of this new government they established.

If Christians in America want to imitate Europeans and forget their biblical roots live only for the moment without regard for the future, before proceeding with that ideal, they should do an in-depth research of modern-day Europe and the foolish notions that are destroying the Europeans.

Saving America from destruction will require making the same decision the founding fathers made; to refuse to be ungodly like most Europeans.
