There are no vacuums in the universe. If you didn’t know that by now, it’s high time you are knowledgeable of this.
The push to take us away from God in the last two and a half centuries, since we in America moved away from the Bible as our foundation, that false move is taking its toll because where we are now is almost at a total collapse of our country. No human earthly values can ever be as good as God’s established order. We will always fall short. There are no vacuums in ideas, government, culture, literature, the arts, the world of entertainment, or any kind of leadership, including the family unit. Nothing can supplant adequately what God has established in all areas of life.
Did the recent headlines announcing the following catch your attention like it did mine? The headline said: “Golden statue of horned monster erected atop NYC courthouse to honor Justice Ginsburg and pro-abortion ‘resistance.’”
These kinds of actions denote the horrific spiritual, moral, and ethical decline we are witnessing in America, and how we are rotting from the inside out. But this is nothing new to the human race only to us. This has happened before only not in America. We have seen how God has dealt with it in the past because he is still Lord of all of his creation and is in control of the universe. He has never lost it and he never will.
Have you heard of the consequences Adam and Eve paid for their sin? Have you heard of how the pre-flood generation perished because of the overwhelming level of sin? Do you know the story of God’s judgment on the Tower of Babel project and how the human race at that time also paid the consequences of wanting to separate themselves from God’s order? Have you read what happened to the nation of old Israel every time they turned their back on God and embraced pagan gods and their worship? Have you read of how and why great and might empires of old collapsed from the inside out due to their immorality and debauchery? Have you read up on how and why the Roman Empire met its demise by corrupting itself with all kinds of perversion like we are seeing manifest here in America these days?
If you are thinking that this kind of disastrous collapse won’t happen to America, then you don’t know God. America will not be the exception. Besides, we know better, and we have no excuse. We will have no one to blame but ourselves for our demise if we don’t wake up and do a 180-degree turn from this path that is taking us straight into destruction.
The following Scriptures still hold true to this day because they state an unchanging truth. Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” Also, Job 4:8 agrees with this, “As I have observed, those who plow iniquity and those who sow trouble reap the same.”
We can fool people, but we can’t fool God, so why do we even try? Job 13:9, “Would it be well when He examined you? Could you deceive Him like a man?”
Hosea 10:13, “You have plowed wickedness and reaped injustice; you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and in the multitude of your mighty men.” These declarations were given to us in God’s Word many centuries ago yet the principles they declare are still true today. Let us learn from them. It is not too late to correct and turn from our wicked ways.
As God is continuously removed from every aspect and corner of American society, paganism and dark spirits are taking his place. Satan is a master strategist on how to take control of territory that is conceded. Without God we are no match for him.
It seems New York City has visibly charged ahead with the representation of pagan gods by erecting a blood-curdling statue inspired by Satanism. New York City has boldly put a new goddess on display.
It is a golden statue of a grossly depicted human female that supposedly was erected in honor of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an ardent warrior for abortion, and this statue also honors all those who vigorously advocate for abortions.
The inclination to create substitute gods just like we read in all of human history, especially in the Bible, only repeats itself except we had not seen it in America quite like this before. Anything of the past pales in comparison to this bold, in our face, move. We should be horrified and outraged!
The designer responsible for the statue is 53-year-old Pakistani-American named Shahzia Sikander. She titled this monstrosity, “Now.” She wants us to believe it is a valid representation of today’s modern culture and she aims at diversifying public spaces. Sikander says she was motivated to create this grotesque expression by the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Are we going to stand idly by and let it happen?
The New York quotes Sikander’s description of this grotesque representation as: “She [the statue] is a fierce woman and a form of resistance in a space that has historically been dominated by patriarchal representation.” I have news for Sikander, the law is not sexist even though mostly men have worked in that field. The law is created for all and is applied to all. The only distinction or qualifier we can apply to law is whether it is moral or immoral, and God decides that. God is neither male nor female, he is God!
Erecting a statue to the human slaughter of children to appease those who massacre them is again nothing new in human history but, it is new to America. This god that requires child-sacrifice has been known since antiquity by the name of Moloch – a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice. He is the demon devourer of children. The laws of God given to Moses expressly forbade this then and still forbids it now. God has not changed.
How much more do we need to see playing out in our nation before we take a good look and say, ‘enough is enough’ and repent before the Lord? God will not be mocked, and we will have to reap the consequences of our actions.
The only option we have is to repent and worship Almighty God alone. The Bible tells us he is a jealous God, he guards truth and purity zealously (Exod. 20:5, 34:14)!
America is deliberately throwing away and squandering all of its blessings by mocking God and even laughing in his face like civilizations and nations of the past did that are no more.
We must resist this darkness in America today!
