Amnesty is the Death of the Rule of Law

Ramon Arias | September 11, 2017

“What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.” —Johann Christian Friedrich Hölderlin (1770—1843)

Amnesty, for violators of immigration laws, can only motivate more invasions the moment it goes into effect. The disaster that was created by the noble amnesty signed by Republican President Ronald Reagan, for illegals in 1986, and failing to comply with the requirements of securing the border and applying immigration laws, is what got us in the mess we are in today. Since no one knows the facts, millions are unaccounted for, and the undocumented aliens have continued to invade the nation.  The avalanche of foreigners has never ceased to arrive illegally, which includes those who used visas but had no plans of leaving.

If anyone cares to check the historical facts of great empires and nations, they will find out not one of them survived a collapse due to internal social problems. Among the many factors in their destruction was the influx of immigrants that never assimilated. The truth is, no nation can take upon itself the burden of massive immigration and still survive, any person that contradicts this reality of history is not only misguided but contributes to the increase of social instability.

Once again we are hearing much about “compassion” toward illegal immigrants but not the cause of why they leave their country of residence. Why don’t politicians, church leaders and every promoter of the violation of a nation’s sovereignty ever mention the urgent need for the emerging nations to improve social life by destroying their culture of corruption?  What about all the suffering and death that people face for trying to cross the border illegally? Why is the media silent of these horrors yet projects a “compassionate heart” and never deals with the unspeakable human tragedy of illegals? The answer is because of their hypocrisy, also known as a double standard when they push their evil agendas for political and economic gain. Socialists, Marxists and Communist Democrats need the illegals to continue to impose their failed utopian society. Some Republicans have not only sold their souls, but also the well-being of future generations by upholding benefits of corporations and businesses that exploit cheap labor. The Independents, Libertarians, and anyone else in the political culture with similar destructive social vision will never make things better. And let us not forget the “Christian churches and leaders” that extensively quote selected passages of the Bible to fit their imprudent, manipulative, distorted and misleading narrative of “compassion.”

In June 2011, The Heritage Foundation published a detailed account of the illegal immigration tragedy and how to combat it:

Hundreds of people die every year trying to cross the border into the U.S. However, illegal immigration is dangerous not only to the illegal immigrants themselves—it is costly to societies and nations as a whole. In order to fight illegal immigration and reduce the toll on human lives, the United States must take a comprehensive approach of increasing border security and improving legal immigration procedures and public diplomacy, as well as fostering reforms and greater efforts to crack down on human smuggling in Latin America….

Criminal acts committed against illegal immigrants include kidnapping, robbery, extortion, sexual violence, and death at the hands of cartels, smugglers, and even corrupt Mexican government officials. Hundreds of individuals perish trying to cross the U.S. southwest border each year—due to heat exhaustion, drowning, and falling into the hands of the wrong people.

The more corporations, politicians, church leaders, the media, and advocates of amnesty promote this kind of suffering; it is not compassion but pure evil (read the full article here). When are all these pious Judas Iscariot’s going to care as much for the population in this nation that is overburdened with all the brunt of crimes and economic cost as a result of decades of illegal immigration?

The Catholic Church in America raises the voice of indignation every time the illegal immigration subject gets national attention. Has anyone ever asked the Catholic hierarchy why the nations of Latin America, which are Roman Catholic in the majority, have never been able to have social and economic stability? Since Christopher Columbus arrived to this part of the world in 1492, the absolute Catholic Christian faith for hundreds of years was the dominant social power, and far from creating a just and fair society, corruption, lawlessness, and dictatorships have been the culture that creates instability and poverty. Since natural resources are abundant in Latin America, there is no excuse for this poverty stricken condition. The people are creative, ingenious, hard working, and visionaries, but for the most part, have accepted the culture of corruption and self-destruction as being normal. Why? Because the biblical foundation of Protestant North America is absent, which by the way is rapidly diminishing.

Beware and be distrustful of anyone that uses the Bible to promote the erroneous “compassion” for lawbreakers.  Nowhere in the Scriptures will you find that compassion for some means the destitution of the well-being of others. Jesus often is misinterpreted on the subject of compassion, which is rarely addressed properly. Yes, Jesus fed the multitudes twice (Matthew 14:13-21 and 15:32-32). Throughout the Gospels, we also learn how he healed multitudes during his public life of three years and some months.  When are the church leaders going to quote the times Jesus refused to feed and heal the multitudes because they wanted to elevate him to be their king so he could continue to feed them and bless them (John 6:14-15, 22-26)? Was Jesus being discriminatory by refusing to meet people’s needs and wants, or, was he clear in knowing the difference between genuine compassion of when and why not to make provisions? Jesus came not to promote the worldview of socialism, or communism welfare, equality or social justice, rather he came to announce the permanent and ongoing Kingdom [government] of God that heals the nations. Jesus is the Savior of sinful humanity, Lord, and King of all the nations.

Applying biblical principles restores broken lives and societies, enhancing human relations, economic and intellectual progress for a stable society.  Jesus doesn’t create social parasites much less reward those who break laws and in the process destabilize communities and nations.

Let us not forget the millions of Americans without a job and are struggling to make ends meet. What about the reward for all the citizens and legal immigrants that follow the law? They are the ones that have suffered the damages by illegal immigration.

For a better understanding of the subject listen to our radio broadcast in our archive files on the subject of biblical Immigration, and Justice: “The Immigration Dilemma and Solutions,” “The Immigration Crisis in the World,” and “Jesus was Anti Socialist.”

Obama violated the principles of law and order to accommodate a hard left socialist agenda by temporarily giving false hope to those brought as children by their parents who came illegally to this country, better known as the DACA executive order. Even though the children had no say so about violating immigration laws their parents did and put these children in such a dilemma. We must understand that it is not about questioning how hard they work, pay taxes and their contribution to communities, rather, by rewarding them it sends the wrong and dreadful message to the world stating that it is acceptable to violate the law. Those that have been waiting in line for many years to come in legally and have submitted all the paperwork the law requires, see this miscarriage of justice as a slap in the face of their honesty.

Lets us not be duped into believing the next amnesty for any illegal immigrants is the right thing to do, rather see it for what it is, the death of the rule of law. Hölderlin was right by affirming the State with a humanistic worldview can only create hell on earth not their misguided paradise on earth.

…if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.
