We are living very interesting and strange times that we probably never thought we would ever be facing some of the things we are having to live with and endure on a daily basis. Every time you think you have heard it all then something else even more bizarre and menacing comes up and you say, WHAT? Am I still living in America in the 21st century or did somebody move me when I wasn’t looking? Because the more I look and hear about things, it seems like I am watching a movie, but it is very real, and we must face these challenges head on with the best wisdom and intelligence available.
We are facing a very real challenge, and we must know what direction to take before more disastrous consequences come upon us. I am talking about the COVID-19 vaccination for children that has recently been approved by the FDA on October 29, 2021. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 to include children 5 through 11 years of age. The FDA claims its authorization was based on thorough and transparent evaluation of the data that included input from independent advisory committee experts who overwhelmingly voted in favor of making the vaccine available to children in this age group. If I correctly understand, a thorough scientific process requires much more time than has been taken to combat this pandemic. So, for the FDA to say that a thorough evaluation has already been done is quite concerning to me and the expert that I will quote agrees with me.
This is so alarming especially when we see and hear the opinions of “qualified” people give us opposing opinions and conclusions on this.
We all know that a pandemic has been unleashed upon humans globally, which at this point has reached 5 million deaths worldwide. We are having to make very difficult choices that no matter what you decide it will bring hard consequences to us all. At this point, especially the most vulnerable among us are being targeted and threatened by a vaccine mandate that we don’t yet have enough credible data regarding the consequences it will produce in our children.
So, when I came upon a report in Newsweek quoting Dr. Ben Carson, former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and he expressed his stance against giving COVID-19 vaccines to children, I paid attention. I looked into it with great interest because he is a highly qualified person whose views on this should be taken very seriously. He is not just any person offering and uninformed opinion.
When asked about the announcement the U.S. Food and Drug Administration made giving its approval for Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11 years, Dr. Carson, blasted that approval as a “giant experiment” of vaccinating children against COVID-19. When asked if he was in favor, he emphatically said “absolutely not”. He added, “The fact of the matter is, the mortality rate for children from COVID-19 is 0.025, which is very similar to the rate for seasonal flu, and we haven’t been for years and years going through all these things for seasonal flu.”
He pointed out that the long-term implications of the vaccines for children are currently unknown, which ought to send alarm bells for parents.
He further added “Do we want to put our children at risk, when we know that the risk of the disease to them is relatively small, but we don’t know what the future risks are? Why would we do a thing like that? It makes no sense whatsoever.”
If Dr. Carson is “absolutely” not in favor of this vaccination on the children, we must pay attention.
Again, if the scientific process is going to be implemented, and no shenanigans are going to be followed, it won’t be any time soon that we will have trustworthy information on this issue. These things take time, years, and decades even, before we know the long-term effects. So, for the government to impose vaccine mandates on people of any age, let alone children, is not only irresponsible but dangerous and criminal.
So far, the side effects that are being reported include sore arm, redness, swelling, fatigue, headache, muscle or joint pain, fever, chills, swollen lymph nodes, nausea, and decreased appetite.
Not only are the short-term side effects from this COVID-19 vaccine for children a great concern but one of the most pressing concerns is if the vaccine could negatively impact their child’s fertility in the future. It is not enough for the CDC to deny it does not have long-term effects to fertility. We can’t just take their word for it. There is no way of knowing the true side effect for sure without decades of studies until these children grow up and endeavor to have families of their own.
I just have one strong thing to say in all this that those responsible for the science needed before proceeding to put our children in such danger better get it right and NOT be playing politics or wanting to place themselves in the limelight in this critical matter. If their motives are wrong, they will hurt a lot of people and they will have a high price to pay in the end because God has the last word in all matters.
