It’s Not Over

Jill Stein, the Green Party’s presidential candidate, is pursuing the recount of votes in three key states won by Donald Trump. At the time of writing this, Stein’s goal is to raise over $7 million to begin the recount in these states; she has already filed in Wisconsin and is going after Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Marc Erik Elias, Hillary Clinton’s campaign counsel, has indicated that they are jumping on the bandwagon to pursue the audits and recounts:

It should go without saying that we take these concerns extremely seriously. We certainly understand the heartbreak felt by so many who worked so hard to elect Hillary Clinton, and it is a fundamental principle of our democracy to ensure that every vote is properly counted….

Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well.

I disagree with Elias about America being a democracy because nowhere is that stated in the Constitution or any other of the founding documents. Democracy is the rule of the majority but America was founded as a Constitutional Republic, and this is the reason why the popular vote doesn’t determine the outcome of the presidential election. As you well know, it is the Electoral College that requires 270 electoral votes to declare the winner.  Hillary got 232 electoral votes, and Donald got 306.  On December 19th, the electors will make the decision to vote for the next president of the United States of America.

Even though we continuously hear politicians refer to America as a democracy, they are wrong, and in need of understanding about the poisonous and deadly effects that democracies have created historically. The Founding Fathers were wise in blocking us from becoming a democracy; they never wanted that for this nation; they made it clear that there is no place for that ideology. Let us consider some of the Founders’ views on democracy and how it breeds the worst kind of government:

“A simple democracy … is one of the greatest of evils.” And dismissed it as a “mobocracy.” —Benjamin Rush

“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” —John Adams

“Democracy is the most vile form of government … democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” —James Madison, 1787, Federalist Paper #10

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”—Thomas Jefferson

“In democracy … there are commonly tumults and disorders. … Therefore a pure democracy is generally a very bad government. It is often the most tyrannical government on earth.”—John Witherspoon

“Pure democracy cannot subsist long nor be carried far into the departments of state; it is very subject to caprice and the madness of popular rage.” —John Witherspoon

We know the 2016 election was infected with corruption as we learned of all the problems in the states.

Are we to believe that Jill Stein, Mark Erik Elias and the Clinton camp, along with all the left ideologists are concerned with voter fraud? If they are and believe “it is a fundamental principle of our democracy to ensure that every vote is properly counted” will they be willing to review with the same conviction and determination the indications that Hillary lost the election by several million of the popular vote?

Since February 2012, The Pew Research Center reported the following:

Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate.

More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters.

Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.

How many illegal immigrants and non-citizens voted? Why are Democrats so determined to eliminate voter photo ID’s?  Many nations already have National Voter ID do you know why? Because they only want citizens to vote who can prove their citizenship eligibility! National Voter ID is not about racism it is called anti-fraud wisdom. If you do a Google search you will be amazed at all the nations that wisely require a National ID; among those nations, you will find Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Spain, etc.

So as you can see, the 2016 election is not over; the left sees a legal foothold to see if they can use more of their trickery to continue to lead America to more stages of cultural darkness.  After the Republican election victory, I warned that the left would not lie down and die after the big setback to their agenda. All this is a good reminder for Christian America to understand how fierce the battle is in the spiritual realm and if we are to win the battle we must engage in the spiritual realm as well as in the natural:

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:11-12 (ESV)
