November 2020: A Clear Choice for Lovers of America

Nena Arias | August 31, 2020

Every generation has its difficult challenges. Right now, in America it is the General/Presidential election of November 3rd. Everything that has made America the most powerful and prosperous country in human history is on the balance. That is not hyperbole, it is fact.

What we have seen in the past 15 years, and especially in the last six months should settle the decision for those of us who love the true America and want to work hard to restore and improve it. America is worth saving. No, it is not just jobs and the economy that I am talking about, those are the byproduct of who we are. Rather, I am talking about restoring the principles we were built upon that include respect for God, life, family, country, entrepreneurship and respect for private and public property. Love of God and neighbor were at the top of our list and those two values, above everything else, should be restored immediately. These two will give way to restoring the rest. Every citizen, family head, especially every Christian person, Christian congregation, and pastor must create an action plan of how they are going to contribute to reclaim the America we love in its original design. Only restoring our original godly foundation will heal our land. God will not be mocked; we are reaping what we have sown. That is an inalterable law that will not change for anyone.

God in his mercy gave us President Trump to help start the clean-up of all this mess, which is why he is so hated by those who were so used to having their own way. They thought they were so entrenched because no president, up to now, had the guts to uncover and expose their schemes to takeover and “fundamentally transform the United States of America” as was clearly announced by Barack Obama.

But now, with God’s help, we have a beacon of hope that we can stop and reverse the destructive course, we have been on for so long. However, we must be perfectly prepared that it will not come without a fierce fight. We must approach this battle for the soul of our country, first and foremost, with prayer acknowledging before God that, not only did we fail to protect and defend this wonderful country he gave us, but we totally contaminated it with rampant sin and lawlessness. Isaiah 24:4-6 says:

“The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the highest people of the earth languish. The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.”

Numbers 35:33-34 says:

“You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell”.

God means what he says and no one, not even America, will be the exception. The following verse from 2 Chronicles 7:14 is the solution and the answer on how to save our beloved country: if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Our clear choice is to choose God first once again, then to get out and re-elect the man that God has been using to begin the pivot of our country in the right direction. The other choice will no doubt continue to take us down the wrong path to even more destruction.

I hope the clear contrast in the two national conventions told you who has the best interest at heart for us and our nation. The choice is clear!
