Our out-of-control culture is showing serious signs of decay so much more than most people can imagine and it is all due to the fact that we have neglected the good seeds and have allowed poisonous weeds to grow in their place.
How else can we explain reports like these, “California now requires public universities to provide the abortion pill”. It is reported that Governor Gavin Newsom has signed SB24 requiring health centers at public universities to do this. Now all 11 university campuses and 23 State University campuses will be forced to comply by 2023.
Another headline reports: “Woman wins ‘wrongful birth’ lawsuit, says would have aborted her son with Down syndrome.” A woman filed a lawsuit against the National Health Service declaring her son with Down syndrome should never have been born and she won and was awarded a large amount of money by the High Court of Justice.
How about this: “Teen Vogue tells young readers abortion is “popular” and gives women “freedom”. Teen Vogue used to be a fashion magazine for girls but now has a history of promoting abortion and sexual issues. It can’t rightly be called a fashion magazine anymore but a propaganda tool to undermine good morals and values.
And if this doesn’t top it all, I don’t know what will. “Man pleads guilty to killing pregnant girlfriend who refused to abort his baby.” A California man pleaded guilty to the murder of his pregnant girlfriend who at the time was 8 weeks pregnant with his baby when she refused to abort. He stabbed her in the neck.
It just keeps getting worse: “Grandmother kills autistic grandson because she felt no one would care for him after her death”. An 87-year-old Florida Woman has been charged with second-degree murder after killing her 30-year-old autistic grandson. She claimed she was afraid no one would be there to take care of him after she was gone. She said, ‘Oh, I’m doing us both in, we’re going together.’” She gave her grandson a drug overdose.
There are men who want to turn into women and women into men. Some want to switch back and forth and others are still deliberating to know what they are. The list of unhinged behavior just keeps getting longer.
We can come to no other conclusion except that America has different symptoms of the same disease. They are evil forces operating in America like never before. We have allowed it to happen because we have sown all the wrong seeds contrary to God’s truth just like Romans 1:21-32 describes: “For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man…Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, … For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions…And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap”. (Galatians 6:7)
With God there is always hope and forgiveness. Let us turn to him while there is still time.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that he will forgive your sins.” (Acts 3:19)
