By now most Americans are familiar with the bathrooms war that is unfolding all across the nation. The homosexual community, as expected, is in full combat mode to stop what they feel is discrimination against the transgender preference. It is a topic that is being discussed by the media, who are aggressively condemning the States that have passed laws making it clear that people must use the bathroom according to their biological anatomy.
In their official corporate statement, Target stores explain that this war is about open bathrooms and fitting room policy “In our stores, we demonstrate our commitment to an inclusive experience in many ways. …we welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.” 1
Target, as well as other businesses, and public places all across the nation never had a transgender bathroom discrimination problem before, maybe a handful felt differently, but no one said they had a problem. Not until the trans activists externalized their demands of equal access to their bathroom of preference and with total support from liberals; all this politically correct insanity has the nation in turmoil. If anyone thinks this is about fundamental rights, well think again and wise up, it is the ongoing cultural battle for social acceptance of homosexuality. They forcefully want to shove it down our throats.
The liberal left could care less about protecting women and children from sexual predators; they are using their effective weapon of political correctness to drive this nation away from the little remaining moral sanity it has. All across the country we are learning how perverts are taking advantage of these policies. Target stores alone have plenty of horror stories that the main media refuses to investigate and are not alerting the public of the dangers women and children face in those stores and other public bathrooms, dressing and locker rooms.
Corporate America is on the prowl to subdue State governments that dare to pass laws to protect religious liberty. When States like Georgia, Mississippi, and North Carolina safeguard their women and children from predators and pedophiles, immediately the big businesses threaten with removing their business and relocating. They promote equality for all, except for Christians, and they use their money leverage to intimidate and blackmail governors and legislators into submission.
Do these big corporations also react the same way in countries where the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT), are not only discriminated against but also put in prison, and in many cases they are put to death? No, these companies have different standards, but why? You would need to ask them. We would think that they would use common sense and understand that the bathrooms war is not about discriminating against anyone in the homosexual community, but it is about protecting our families from criminals. If they would take a poll in the LGBT community, as I stated before, they will find that there never was a problem with bathrooms the way they have always been.
Corporate America shouldn’t forget that this nation provided the opportunity to be where they are now. They need to remember their humble beginnings and how Americans responded to their products and stick to commerce and not play politics. Instead of promoting division in the nation that they owe so much to, they should be advocates for better understanding of human nature from the correct scientific, sociological and moral perspective as history teaches us. Above all, they should study how great nations die and what are the common symptoms a civilization manifests before it crumbles; perhaps, they could see what future awaits America if there is no turn around from this path of decadence.
In the meantime, Target stores are experiencing a significant financial blow because people no longer think they are a family friendly establishment, and they are taking their business elsewhere.
