When people are desperate for social solutions and they lack understanding of the proper function of society and civil government, they are vulnerable to fall for anything and anyone who promises hope and benefits. Six thousand years of history clearly signals out who’s at fault, and it is not the ones who have been elevated to power but those who put them there.
George Washington’s First Inaugural Address (April 30, 1789), and his Farewell Address (September 19, 1796) are a must read. In his Farewell Address he warned the newly born nation that this was a civil government experiment:
“Disorders and mysteries… Incline the minds of men to seek security… In the absolute power of an individual… [who] turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty… and thus to create… a real despotism.”
At the end of his two presidential terms, Washington could see people’s false expectation. However, the day he took office he was full of confidence that the people would never depart from the truth of Who was the only Founding Father of the nation as stated in his first presidential message:
Such being the impressions under which I have – in obedience to the public summons – repaired to [arrived at] the present station, it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being Who rules over the universe, Who presides in the councils of nations, and Whose providential aids can supply every human defect – that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes. (Emphasis added)
Washington went on to remind the people to remember and acknowledge God:
In tendering this homage [act of worship] to the Great Author of every public and private good, I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own, nor those of my fellow-citizens at large less than either. No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand, which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of Providential Agency; and in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their united government . . . cannot be compared with the means by which most governments have been established without some return of pious gratitude. . .
These reflections, arising out of the present crisis, have forced themselves too strongly on my mind to be suppressed. . . . [T]he foundation of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality . . . since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indi-ssoluble union between virtue and happiness – between duty and advantage – between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious [favorable] smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained. . . . (Emphasis added)
In 228 years, America is so far removed from the sound basis of the immutable truth by disregarding “eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained,” and since then has been looking to elect a messiah.
Remember when Obama was hailed as the messiah even as a newly elected president? People’s adoration for him started in the 2008 presidential campaign when they heard his promise of hope and change.
The mainstream media, which is controlled by the left and big money, indoctrinated the majority of the voting population into accepting Obama not only as the Savior of the United States but of the world. In 2008, President-elect Barack Obama assured the nation and the world his victory was evident “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.” And of course, people that voted for him believed this.
Obamaformessiah.com posted the following:
“This is bigger than Kennedy. . . . This is the New Testament. . . .I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often. No, seriously. It’s a dramatic event.” — Chris Matthews
“Obama’s finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don’t even really inspire. They elevate. . . . He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh . . . Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves.” — Ezra Klein
“I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years,” he said. “What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. … The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.” — Rev. Jesse Jackson, Jr.
During the 2008 campaign Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader, proclaimed on February 24th:
“You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking.”
We don’t have to be reminded of the absolute chaos and turmoil that happened to the nation during Obama’s administration. Obama’s messianic complex failed those who elevated him, and many realized they were wrong, among them is Louis Farrakhan who turned against Obama as the years unfolded. As things in the nation got worse and worse, Farrakhan preached several messages condemning Obama’s betrayal. Youtube has many of those messages such as: Obama: From “Messiah” to Murderer, and The ‘First Gay President’ Obama – Louis Farrakhan.
For eight years the media portrayed Obama, in most of their photographs, with a heavenly glow and halo. They protected him by hiding from the public the truth of the severe damage all of which will be difficult to cover up when he is out of office. That is if he doesn’t pull out a last minute surprise from his communist book.
Obama knows his fake legacy of delusional greatness is about to crumble and he hates Trump’s determination to repair the damage. Messiahs are vicious when they see their true image is being exposed. January the 20th looks so far away not knowing whether the left will play out another unexpected move. It is no joke when we say that the soul of America is at stake.
Let us hope and pray that people don’t elevate Trump to the messiah syndrome, instead, let us accept the challenge that it is up to all of us to roll up our sleeves and tackle the hard and demanding task that is before us.
I don’t have to remind Christians who The True Messiah and Lord of all is!
