The Generational Changes of Elections

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all
without reproach, and it will be given him.”
(James 1:5)

The cultural upheaval that we are seeing going on all around us is screaming out to each and every one of us to please do something about it to make things right. The truth is that we are all leaving a legacy whether we realize it or not, and every choice we make and the way we live is determining the quality of it.

Taking an objective look at America’s history reveals that these changes we are seeing are not being positive. The overwhelming majority of the population manifests the detriment of these shifts and reveals that our nation has been going and continues to go in the wrong direction.

The minority thinks the nation is going in the right direction because they have a different perspective based upon their ideological beliefs, and it has nothing to do with the original vision for this nation. Those who know and affirm that elections have consequences are right; we can tell by the outcomes. They are either positive or negative.

According to the polls, people say the economy is the most important issue, why? Because it hits them where it hurts, their pocketbook. It is always the same in every election. Who’s at fault for this unprecedented financial mess?

In 1992, in Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign’s strategy he coined the phrase “It’s the economy, stupid.” But does anyone remember six years later the reason for his impeachment? He was charged with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. But most people only cared about the economy; their un-coined motto became “forget morality.” For the most part, many have forgotten Clinton’s long-term economic disaster for the nation. Are we smarter or have we become more stupid for creating this economic black hole?

We are long overdue to acknowledge that our national problems are deeper than money even though we have an astronomical national debt due to irresponsible spending on the part of the government.

Our country has been fundamentally transformed and we are now living a nightmare that only promises to get worse. By being focused on the economy and only voting their pocketbook, people have not been paying attention to the ideological background of the candidates that have been and are being voted into office. This critical oversight is swinging the cultural pendulum in the opposite direction from the values that gave us our greatness and that at one time God could honor.

We are rapidly replacing our biblical values foundation over to a Marxist, which is the ideological foundation, and social philosophy of Karl Marx. We can sum up what Marxism stands for in a short, well-rehearsed phrase that everyone can recognize: “class struggle.” It is the false utopian idea that socialism sets people free and makes them happy. Needless to say, we have been duped.

It is no longer acceptable to be quick in blaming our leaders only to avoid accepting responsibility for what now looks like a total collapse of our country. Our nation is in shambles and threatens to fall into ruination. Both ruling parties are to blame for this but especially to blame is all of us the citizenry.

Not only have we allowed total disregard for the Constitution, but for God himself. We have become a godless nation who thinks it is Christian. We have ruined our future and the future of our children and our children’s children. Our ideas and choices do have generational consequences.

Through numerous executive orders our country is rapidly changing. The power grab is unprecedented, federal judges have derailed justice, the strong arm of the IRS is being militarized, the DOJ is a joke, the back-handed accelerated flood of illegal immigrants, that don’t care to assimilate. Other things that must be mentioned is the increase in drug-trafficking, increased crime, the revival of racism, tax financing of the baby killing industry, the White House has even been lit with the rainbow colors celebrating the unconstitutional approval of same-sex marriage, there is weakening of the armed forces, glorified immorality, blatant attacks against Christianity, and much more. We must also mention the atrocious foreign policies that are causing the world to laugh at us. All of this disarray is what was meant when it was openly said that they wanted to “fundamentally transform America”. Some only pretend to be stupid but they know exactly what they are doing.

Is the damage irreversible? We can make the difference on November 8th. Do your homework to study candidates and get out and vote. Your vote does make a generational difference. Don’t ever underestimate it!

Elections go much deeper than economics; social issues are what define us as people. Christians MUST not neglect their civic responsibility of voting; this is the system we have for now and we must accept the reality that being negligent is unacceptable to God because He made us to be salt and light in society. Being held accountable to God should be enough to get you on your knees and out to the voting booth.

Doing the right thing is about understanding our past, present, and future, that requires wisdom, not from man but from God, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5)

Our biblical faith is not to be surrendered to any social control, and neither should any party manipulate it for political reasons. We must serve only Him who is the legal owner not only of this planet and the universe, but also heaven and hell. When we vote, it must be done according to His purpose.

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
(Matthew 6:10, 33)

Anything short of this goal will never work.
