Transgender Obsession in Public Schools

“Train up a child in the way he should go;
    even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
(Proverbs 22:6)

The public-school system is not working and will only get worse because it is not God’s way to educate children. Couple that with our cultural values that continue to deteriorate to immoral levels unheard of before in our country and what do we have? We have a messed-up country with serious detriment to future generations.

What am I talking about? It is not uncommon for a biological female student to be allowed to use a boy’s locker room or restroom and vice versa in our public schools these days even without warning to neither students or their parents. Teachers have been gagged to talk about all these sensitive subjects otherwise they jeopardize their jobs. This is modern-day slavery and it is immoral.

Not even the parent’s voice is being heard in many cases because things are done arbitrarily even if the school’s attention is called on this. This is all due to the political correctness mentality and the out-of-control immorality that too many people are living in or willing to accept without a fight. Since when does the school feel it has the right to own our children? This happened since the parents gave them the right to do with their kids minds and taxpayer dollars whatever they want just release them from the duty and “takeover the responsibility of their education”. The attention of the parents is elsewhere, mostly making a “better” living economically or selfishly wanting more time to indulge themselves at the expense of their children. The result of this is that local control of education is out of the question because school boards have become entrenched and are not listening either lest they have to part with the tax dollars they covet. Let’s be honest.

On the other hand, I do want to say that many responsible parents are waking up to their responsibility and becoming aware of the danger their kids are in when they attend public schools. Parents mistakenly thought that public school was the best way to educate their children until this overt aggression on them and their values became so evident. The public-school system has certainly overstepped its boundaries in many ways.

Could the answer be for parents to withdraw their children and take their taxpayer money with them and home school instead? Having been a homeschool mom in the past, I offer to you that homeschooling is the best and most godly option to educate children. Most homeschoolers are turning out to be the best students and with the homeschooling boom, the demand for excellent materials has been met, so, quality homeschooling is totally doable.

Not only does homeschooling render better students, for the most part, but they will be more stress free from the pressures of less than desirable values and behaviors from other children that are being brought up with much less structures and the right values. That is not to say there are no exceptions on both sides, but parents will have more quality control in the education of their children.

At the very least parents should have school choice where their children won’t be forced to have to face shared locker rooms and restrooms with those of the opposite sex. They should not be forced or be exposed to naked bodies of sexually confused individuals. This is becoming more and more alarming. Parents should still have the power and last word as to the education of their kids. They have a right to have their moral voices heard within the public education system. School choice will empower them to exit it when their voices are ignored.

It is time to act or you will lose precious time with your children. Take full charge of your God-given responsibility in the formation of the precious lives of your children.

“Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen, and so that they do not slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and grandchildren.”
(Deuteronomy 4:9)
“Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
(Deuteronomy 11:19)
