Turning to God and Making It Public

“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
    call upon him while he is near;”
(Isaiah 55:6)

Have you noticed how many people are becoming bolder about their Christian faith in public as we are facing the threat of danger and death with this coronavirus pandemic? That’s because our spirit knows what is going on and is telling us what to do. We must heed this spiritual call!

In this time of crisis with so much disease and death threatening everyone, I have been very gratified and blessed to see many people from all walks of life turning to God and making it public. Many are no longer being ashamed or intimidated into keeping their faith in the Almighty hidden or just to themselves and this is the right thing to do. Does it surprise you that I say this?

It shouldn’t surprise you if you have been paying attention because the events this coronavirus pandemic has unleashed on the entire world isn’t anything that humans can control on their own, we need God’s intervention.

It’s also of great interest to me that all this is happening at a time of the year when much of the world has their mind on holy things anyway, such as Passover and Easter. There is no doubt with everything happening around us, that it is time to get back in right standing with the God of the Bible. At least for our country here in America, it is time to honor and get back to the biblical faith in the roots of our freedoms, culture and form of government. It is more than obvious that America has forgotten how to respect God. Don’t get me wrong. We have “religion” and churches on every corner of our cities, but mere religion is not what we need more of, rather it is imperative that we get back in right standing with God and turn from our wicked ways.

Many of us agree that President Trump is doing a very good job leading our country, and protecting its citizens and values. But President Trump is not God. Many are demanding that he be God judging by the way they criticize him and demand from him things that only God can deliver.

But let me make this very clear, we can’t afford to place our hopes or our future on any man or government in and of itself. No one human being alone can save us now, we must call upon God for deliverance.

Allow me to remind us all that our life, freedoms, rights, and liberties that have defined our nation, don’t come from government. They come from God and the faith of our founders, as the Declaration of Independence states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

None of us can deny that there is a war on Christian America. There is a concerted effort from the leftist mindset to push God and religion out of our culture, and it has been going on since the second half of the 19th century. When the introduction of the theory of evolution started making its way into our institutions of higher learning and now it’s at all levels. God was pushed out of his rightful place in their minds and they haven’t stopped since then. On the contrary, the force and momentous vitriol against God only increases. We have brought this suffering upon ourselves. We have lived foolishly thinking that we can be autonomous from God and he is saying, not so fast. God has intervened with a very loud voice through crises that threaten our very existence. He wants our attention and fast before it is too late. What will be our response?

It is high time that every Bible believing Christian American (and every citizen of the world, for that matter) make a decision—will your faith in the Almighty guide your life or will you continue to be intimidated into pushing God out of your life and nation? Will you turn to God and make it public or will you continue to cave under the pressure of the God-haters who want to erase God out of our founding? As if they could. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

Turning back to God is what is required if we want to not only survive but reclaim our great American nation. We don’t have to reinvent ourselves. All we need to do is reclaim our Christian foundation. However, I must warn you, it will come at a price, but it will be worth it.

Parents need to be the spiritual leaders and historians their children need and teach them truth from God’s Word and the true foundation of our country. In this case, homeschooling is the best option where possible. On the other hand, public schools need to admit their fault about the distorted history they have been teaching our children and begin teaching our true history.

The mainstream media must hold itself accountable as well. It has been influencing many lives against the true godly American foundation with their leftist agenda. It’s time to stop being subversive under the name of journalism. You can’t fight God indefinitely and win.

To all of America, our way out of this slump is very clear—it is time to stop trusting in the “arm of flesh” it can’t save us no matter how knowledgeable it may seem.

If Christian America continues to neglect, squander and betray the heritage we were given, we will have to answer to God for it. We will lose our country. It is time to turn to God—come out from hiding and make it public.

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”  (Isaiah 55:6-7)
