When it comes to forming a new generation our education of them is vital. It must be accurate, consistent and exemplary. We must pass on the greatest treasures of truth that we have corroborated for ourselves. So, when the following verses emphasize the education of children for their proper formation and survival of the human race, we must never take them lightly:
The most ancient form of education is the one the Bible establishes: home schooling. As we read in the Bible verses above, parents are the ones commissioned by God to educate their children and even their children’s children. Education falls into two basic categories: spiritual, which includes morals and ethics. The second category is basic academics (reading, writing, arithmetic). In our days, materials to teach these adequately are easy and readily available. The spiritual matters are easily learned from God’s Word, the Bible; there is no substitute for this. For academics, parents have a myriad of resources available to teach their children even up to the high school level and beyond with great success even in the sciences, computation, the arts, composition, literature, etc.
Parents have the principal authority to form future generations and to give to society the best elements that will in turn serve God and their fellowmen in a very valuable manner. All people, especially children, must learn that the main purpose of life is to know, love and serve God and love and serve their neighbors as they love themselves. This is why it is so tragic as we observe the life of our children and young people, and they seem empty of real purpose and identity. They are defined by their physical looks, the clothes they wear, the brand of phone they carry, the neighborhood they live in, the kind of car they drive, the music they listen to and all these superficialities without any real depth. Technology and social media have devoid them of knowing how to develop real human relationships with all the challenges that these present, so they lack real life skills to know how to problem solve and get along in life successfully.
The quality of education in our children and young people is the type of human elements that will govern the next generation. We cannot deny that the liberal/progressive mentality is ruling the day because that radical agenda has been allowed to advance practically without resistance. Our nation’s classrooms have been targeted by the godless liberals since the beginning of the 20th century and they show no signs of stopping in indoctrinating our young people with this destructive social agenda. Make no mistake, the destruction of this country through the deliberate attack of our children has been very well orchestrated and consistent.
The fundamental transformation of our public school system is frightening with much of the focus on perverted indoctrination of the LGBT education, while the more important standards in math, reading, and history are steadily declining.
Test scores are consistently being lowered to make them acceptable because the actual learning keeps declining. The dumbing down of our children is criminal. The teaching of America’s founding principles is non-existent or have been revised to not even resemble our true history. Yet, our spending on public education continues to climb without benefit to our students.
This is critical because what is taught in classrooms today will shape the worldview of the next generation. This is a terrible situation. They are wiping out our identity right before our eyes and teaching our children to hate what our country represents. What kind of world are we creating?
The people with this liberal agenda are God-haters. Make no mistake, their fight is against God and the foundation of this country. They would like nothing better than to destroy our religious freedom because we stand in their way of totally taking over.
This spiritual and cultural war is very real. Parents can certainly start by deciding to homeschool and snatch their children out of the mouth of the lion that wants to devour their spirit and their mind. You can also make a difference by contacting or getting involved in your local school boards. The time to turn things around is now, we must not delay.
Always elect those who will affect the educational policies at the local, state and national levels. It is time to push back. Support and team up with parents who are fighting against a school system that is hostile to the biblical worldview. Join our president in continuing to advocate for school choice.
Above all let’s obey God’s order for the education of children. His wisdom for our well-being is the one that matters most. Let’s properly educate and train our children as he has commanded us. We must live out God’s commandments and teach them to our children.
Let’s continue to promote faith and true values for the future of our nation.
