Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,and shrewd in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21)
I received an email that greatly disturbed me because in spite of all the decades of consistent intercessory prayer efforts and countless ministries—that are combating evil and darkness in this world, through all the means available, darkness keeps advancing at a neck-break pace.
The article went on to report that in June of this year PBS is going to launch a six-episode series of short videos on a YouTube channel to supposedly “celebrate” LGBTQ pride month. I don’t want to give too much information that would promote this because I am so against it. What is the world thinking? Heavy questions keep coming to my mind. Since when is it a prideful thing to celebrate sexual perversion and unthinkable immoral practices? Where is the culture of this nation and the world headed?
When I hear that more and more so-called “sexual diversity” or “sexual fluidity” has been approved for the curriculum for children as young as five years old, I get sick to my stomach. But I guess nothing aggravates me more than to think, why in the world would sane parents send their children to schools to get indoctrinated in that filth?
There is nothing more egregious than to openly come against the order that God has established for life. Pushing the sexual perversion agenda is a direct slap in the face and such mockery to our Creator.
Even the foundations of sound Christian doctrine are being attacked by these LGBTQ efforts from within. I understand one episode features an “Openly Homosexual Pastor” who received acceptance to pastor a church in the Bible Belt in Jackson, Mississippi. This is so sacrilegious. Not satisfied to flaunt this perverted lifestyle they are calling evil good. This is how God warns against this: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21)
What is scandalous and outrageous is that in 2020 PBS received $445 million in taxpayer money. This means our government is directly insulting our God, our faith and his morals and values for right living. How shameful in a country who had a Christian founding.
So I am asking that you take this opportunity to sign a petition circulated by the American Family Association. We thank them for taking a strong stand. Let’s all stand together against this egregious assault against our God and all of us who want to honor and respect.
