If the founders understood clearly that God must govern men, otherwise tyrants will take over, why didn’t they make it clear in the Constitution? It was clear in their minds through personal experience that there are only two sources of government; why not go in depth about the true source?
How do men become tyrants? Men become tyrants when they embrace a philosophy of evil as a rule for life. So, what or who is the source of the philosophy of evil? Without reviewing over six thousands years of written human history in order to understand evil, all we have to do is pay close attention to one individual who summed up man’s conflict since the dawn of history.
Saul Alinsky (1909 – 1972). His radical masterpiece was a small book, “Rules for Radicals,” a blueprint for the Left to take over the nation by fundamentally transforming all aspects of society. His book was dedicated to Lucifer, the first radical: “Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgement of the very first radical, from all our legends, mythology, and history … the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer.”
Alinsky acknowledged the historical battle between two kingdoms and how the first radical to rebel against the established Kingdom of God, won his own kingdom. Alinsky built upon Lucifer’s ancient destructive ideas. However he should have known better because Lucifer’s kingdom has constantly been defeated throughout history. Evil always collapses; it cannot stand the test of time against the true Kingdom of God.
Alinsky’s disciples have done a masterful job at applying the ideas of the first radical, Lucifer/Satan, they have used the vehicle of Republicanism and Democracy in order to arrive at a tyrannical form of dominion. Among the most famous Alinsky’s left-wing revolutionaries are Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
While Alinsky exalts Satan, as the first radical to establish an alternative kingdom, Jesus revealed the true nature of the first radical to the Jews, who thought of themselves as keepers of God’s truth only to find that their whole system of ideas, faith and belief was dominated by evil. This is how Jesus pointed that out:
“Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me” John 8:43-45.
Jesus appeared on earth to destroy the lies of the first radical and his form of government: “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Jesus never intended to promote or establish any form of human government or physical kingdom. He represented the only eternal Kingdom that has the principles to free the human race from the oppression of the first radical, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him” (Acts 10:38). Let me repeat, no human government that opposes God’s moral law will be able to bring any true justice, social peace and progress.
Before Christ appeared on earth, it was revealed that He was going to destroy the first radical, (Genesis 3:15) who, through his lies, deceived the first humans who were commissioned to administer the world under God’s government. Satan, the first radical, has not changed his strategy of coming against the truth and the purpose of God for this world (Genesis 3:1-5). He is a defeated foe and knows it very well, however, he is always on the prowl and doesn’t stop from his all out efforts to trap humans that fall for his lies.
Men in power and glory accept the lies that it is through their genius that they accomplish such greatness, only to find they are mere mortals and subject to a higher power. Such was the case of king Nebuchadnezzar one of the historical figures that had the greatest government of his time, the Babylonian Empire. He learned the hard way that there is only one who has total control of the universe and the earth. Nebuchadnezzar at the pinnacle of his power was warned not to think highly of himself lest he should find out he is a mere mortal in control of nothing. He ignored the warning. Read the following account carefully:
“And the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you, and you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will”. (Daniel 4:30-32).
After seven years of mental illness, just as it was foretold he regained his mental faculties:
“At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?” At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and splendor returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me, and I was established in my kingdom, and still more greatness was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble” (Daniel 4:34-37).
America’s experiment of human government is failing and cannot work indefinitely. The reason is not complicated; God does not compromise His form of government as revealed in His moral Law. American Exceptionalism can only survive if it returns to the original intent of the Founders, the Pilgrims of 1620, and this time it must be accompanied by a Biblical Reformation. Seriously, there is no other hope for the future of this nation.
The test of wanting a form of government apart from God’s government will fail miserably. There is no negotiating with any form of government different from the one that rules heaven. Logically, if we apply God’s rules for living in all areas of life, we can only expect good and great things to unfold before our eyes. We need not fear understanding how this will be possible when we are currently drowning as a result of relying in man’s ways. We need not fear that a Christian denominational view will take over. Individually we all need to be students of God’s Word and not look to man for interpretation; the Bible interprets itself. The Holy Spirit is appointed to lead us into all the truth, we must believe and trust in His guidance in order for us to bring the needed changes.
Self-government is God’s original plan; Jesus made it possible for us to regain the importance as sons and daughters of God. To be under God makes it impossible for tyrants to dominate us. Believe it or not, human history is moving toward the direction where God will rule Supreme in all nations.
It is never to late to embrace the truth that our rights come from God and not from man.
