Two days in a row, the Supreme Court of the United States, by a majority vote, acted against the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the very fabric of the nation’s Christian Culture. 

Last Friday’s decision from five Black-Robed Judges redefined marriage, family and the future culture of America. Their agenda to fundamentally transform the nation is on schedule in obedience to the masterminds.

By now you must be aware of the backlash against the totalitarian ruling of these five Black-Robed “Justices.” We will continue to hear and read about this disgraceful man-made law. Even though it is a sham, in time it will be enforced to the full extent to destroy non-compliant Christians. The homosexual activists will stop at nothing and are very content with this ruling; they will cooperate with their masters who are manipulating them to achieve the goal of exterminating Biblical Christianity. No, I’m not exaggerating; two thousand years of history are on my side since Christianity became a force to reckon with in the nations.

For True Christians in America, the questions will become more apparent: whose side are they on, the God of the Bible or man’s side? You’d better believe this is the time to define where our loyalty lies.

My next statement may surprise you when I say that we should welcome this battle and accept it with humbleness and wisdom because it was about time. America and the world do not need CINO’s (Christians in name only); historically, they only serve the masters of darkness. Again, I’m not inventing this, two thousand years of Christianity tells me that’s the way it is. So cheer up and put on the full armor of God, the battle is going to rage but we must not be controlled by fear or cowardice. Neither should we run for cover expecting Jesus to bail us out of this one, or sleepily be led to the slaughter because the masters of darkness say so. 

We need to take a good look at Paul’s letter of encouragement to the Christians of Ephesus under the Roman Empire:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:10-18)

The early followers of Christ, (not in reference to the apostles only), confronted the mighty Roman State as well as the Jewish persecution for having embraced the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Since the day of Pentecost, Christ’s followers are equipped to confront the kingdom of men and come out victorious. Those of us that have experienced this in many nations with different antagonistic cultures against God’s sovereignty can testify to the reality of God’s strength in the face of deadly danger. Sharing the Good News of the Kingdom of God sometimes comes with confrontation just like the Middle Eastern Christians who are being slaughtered by the Islamists reminds us. There are others in many parts of the world where the battle against Christianity is very much a reality. (Read 1 Peter 6:6-9).

As you “celebrate” the Fourth of July you must remember what took place 239 years ago when the Christian Colony Patriots got fed up and said enough to the monarchy’s tyranny. In 1776, with the exception of a very small Jewish population, most colonies identified as Christians; approximately 98 percent were Protestants and 1.9 percent Roman Catholics.[1]

The colonial pulpits, which led the way to the War of Independence, were focused.

With these statistics, it does not take rocket science to figure out that The Declaration of Independence that was produced by the Continental Congress during the struggle for independence, made their biblical convictions clear by proclaiming: 

“We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” They make further references in the text to “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” and begin to close their statement by “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world” followed by the signers’ affirmation of their “reliance on the protection of divine Providence.”

The separation of church and state, like it is promoted in our time was inconceivable in their minds. The promotion of the historical perversion of homosexual choices, much less same-sex marriage and so many ideas contrary to their unanimous support of biblical moral law, would have been out of the question. The British baptized the pastors of that time as the “Black-Robed Regiment” who were the main teachers and motivators with the biblical view of reform politics to declare independence from England. Even King George, it is said, made reference to the War for Independence as “a Presbyterian rebellion.” British Major Harry Rooke was largely correct when he confiscated a presumably Calvinist book from an American prisoner and remarked: “[i]t is your G-d Damned Religion of this Country that ruins the Country; Damn your religion.”[2,3,4]

Once again, Christians and the pulpits in America could greatly benefit from reading the wealth found in the sermons of the Black-Robed Regiment pastors. You will not find messages to satisfy the itchy ears of the CINO’s. Rather, you will find Strong biblical teachings to preserve the liberty given by God Almighty against all foes.  

The SCOTUS’ 4th of July reminder to Biblical Christian America is this: the nonbiblical society and government despise you. Even though your ancestors in 1620 brought the biblical worldview, they are against their memory and defy the Almighty. They will shackle, enslave, and bury you.

Now hear the response of the Almighty, Owner and Ruler of heaven and earth:

“He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision” (Psalms 2:4).

All right, child of God, you know now without a shadow of a doubt that we are at war. Let us be wise, strong and courageous (Joshua 1:6-9), and proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of our God and His Christ, the only true Savior of humanity. Let us roll up our sleeves and put up a good fight that is now before us knowing in whose name we have believed and that leads us forward. 

“I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one” (John 17:15).
