Let me see if I understand the intellectuals from the different ideological points of view with limited exceptions. For more than six thousands years of recorded social human history men have been making laws to govern other men. Very well, I get that much. How do they come up with these laws? Is it because they are sincere and pure at heart to know what is best for their fellow men?  If so, why do these laws always turn out to be for the worst and only lead their beloved race to a collapse?

Looking from the religion of evolution’s perspective and how it dominates just about all areas of social life, why do humans need laws to regulate their behavior if they have no control over the process? If the universe came from nothing and took form from some kind of cosmic soup and humans evolved from a process that links us to the animal life, why do we need human laws? Animals do not need laws that tell them not to kill, steal, covet others’ property (goods and money), pay taxes, and create county, state and federal prisons to punish all sorts of crime. Animals do not need three branches of government nor do they need legislators to pile up millions of laws to regulate human development. Why do humanists who praise evolution, not live by their own religion? Why do they borrow values from the God of the Bible to make their laws?

Humanism rejects theistic laws and crowns man’s reasoning as the source of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. It is intolerant of any form of competition to its ideas about the universe, earth, life, and death.  They thrive on having the last word on everything. Their position about the afterlife is that there is none.  Why then the absurdity of making laws to control society?

Humanism is the recycled ideas from paganism of ancient times. It is not unique for it has only changed its terminology and its masks. Pagan Humanism is in good company and receives great support from “Christian Humanism” which looks back to pagan Greece and Rome to find life’s meaning in all the social institutions. In the twentieth century we got heavily bombarded with the resurgence of atheistic philosophy based on Pagan Humanism. Their intellectual battle cry was: reason without biblical faith! Is this a new philosophy? By no means! They are the same old re-hashed ideas that reject the reality of the God of the Bible as the one responsible for the creation of all things. The fight is against God Almighty.

Here is more food for thought, the International Humanist and Ethical Union’s Minimum Statement on Humanism states:

Humanism is a democratic and ethical life stance, which affirms that human beings have the right and responsibility to give meaning and shape to their own lives. It stands for the building of a more humane society through an ethic based on human and other natural values in the spirit of reason and free inquiry through human capabilities. It is not theistic, and it does not accept supernatural views of reality” 1

Let us not forget the promoters of Secular Humanism. By their very philosophical nature they put man at the center of the universe as an animal. Since they do not believe in the God of the Bible, the way they promote improvement to their never ending evolving animalistic nature is through democracy, peace for all, economic well being, every one is equally deserving of having a high standard of life, and countless pursuits for their happiness.  Anyone who stands in his or her way better watch out. They will receive the “loving wrath” of the Secular Humanistic devastating machinery. Are these new ideas or merely recycled? Again, they are as old as the human race.

Are all factions of Humanism in unity and loving harmony? Far from it, they’ve been fighting for thousands of years since the humanist worldview was born with Adam and Eve.  Read for yourself the entire chapter of Genesis 3.

In the past, humanists had already admitted that Humanism is a religion up until they gained great cultural inroads into American society, and then they reclassified their worldview as a philosophy.  They figured out that most Americans were now in their pocket, including most of Christianity.

What kinds of laws are being legislated, humanistic or biblical? Judging by the monumental social mess we find ourselves in no one in their right mind should dare say we are a nation under God, which is equivalent to saying: we are governed by God’s moral law and not men. Next time you hear the expression: “The United States is a nation governed by law not by man, you must ask yourself, what laws? Do not forget that men’s laws contradict God’s laws, you should know by now that can only mean severe trouble.

Consider how the Obamacare law, far from being about health, is becoming apparent to many it is big government’s tentacles reaching for more control. In order to regulate Obamacare we now have twenty thousands pages to work through and there are more to come.  How is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” working for you?

King Solomon was right when he stated: “When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, but when the wicked rise, people hide themselves…. Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people…. When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan(Proverbs 28:12,15; 29:2).

The formula to bail America out from all the wrong laws it has accumulated for over two hundred years is to go back to the governing document without modifying one iota. America’s original governing document is the whole Bible. To bring back all social institutions and set them on the right track, the Biblical Law must be in the hearts and minds of people of good will. Self-government is impossible without the moral law of God. Righteous people are the by-product of embracing God’s ethics.

Wait a minute, you may say: “our recognized theologians, pastors, and Bible teachers have been proclaiming that God’s moral law is not for our times because it is impractical and it only overburdens people. Furthermore, Christ did away with the Old Testament.” Let me remind you what I mentioned earlier in this article, that they have sided either willingly or unwillingly with the religion, philosophy and worldview of Humanism.

The Apostle Paul disagrees with all whose position is to deny the continuity of God’s moral law:

“For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being… Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind,” (Romans 7:22, 25). If it was good for Paul why should it be any different for the true Christian? Why not purpose in our hearts to understand like the writer of the 119th Psalm did:

“Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it” (Psalm 119:33-35).

Once we understand what these men understood of the great benefits of God’s moral law we will long for more people of all ages to know the law of God that makes us wise the unassuming. Do you really believe that God haters can do a better job for humanity then those who delight in God’s law? I hope not.

I will always favor those who were discipled by Christ as they walked and talked with him for three years than those who have allowed their minds to be contaminated by lies. John the disciple wrote to the believers of his time:

“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome (1 John 5:2-3).

James wrote: “But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing” (James 1:25).

Let me ask you again, how are men’s laws working for you? You may not know how many of man’s law are hurting you but you certainly cannot deny they are not working to make America better. Challenge yourself to find out how many of man’s laws regulate life and be shocked!

Biblical laws cover all human needs for a better and lasting life in the here and now, in time and history. Absolutely no area of human involvement is out of the reach of the biblical law.  All of man’s destructive laws can be fixed when God’s law replaces them. Impossible you say? Not so fast, God is in control and waiting for His people to wake up from the nightmare of human depravation and accept His government in their lives and social institutions.

Lets get to work and bring back Biblical faith and law!
