It is a historical fact that the Christian philosophy and standards for living, especially the freedom of religion, founded this nation which became the United States of America. So, you certainly don’t think that we would ever see Christianity under such heavy attack by those of the leftist ideology who are God-haters and are so empowered at present to impact our national culture in the way it is playing out. It brings to mind what Luke 16:8 says, “For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.”
Aiming to silence the voice of God’s truth and causing humans to doubt him has been the goal of Satan from the very beginning of his rebellion.
The enemies of God imitate their father Satan in perfecting lies and deception as their principal weapon to fool people who are ignorant of the truth of God. Jesus said, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)
Lies are the characteristics of those in the forefront in this fight against God’s truth. Their fight is really against God, but they take it out on us. The Left focuses on twisting and turning aspects of Christianity until they are totally unrecognizable. Deception is their weapon of choice. That is their platform.
They falsely make Christians out as hate-filled judgmental hypocrites simply because God’s people must uphold his truth no matter who gets offended and no matter the consequences. God’s truth will never be silenced because he is still God and Lord of all of his creation. True godly principles stand in the way of those who want to dictate their evil agenda to the rest of us.
They even have the audacity to blatantly challenge God and call him a liar. By their actions and their words, they are literally shaking their fists at him and dare to spit in his face. They know no respect for him. We have news for them, nobody has ever fought against God and won.
All true Christians need to unashamedly uphold God’s truth and engage in the culture war because God will always fully support his truth. Besides, Christians are still majority in this country; we comprise nearly 80% of the population. Our strength threatens the opposition so much that the only thing they can do is make us look intolerant, fanatical, and oppressive. They treat Christian beliefs as old-fashioned that no longer apply to modern life. They prefer to live life upside down yet expect the results to come out on the right side. Little do they know that God’s truth can never be silenced but God needs us to stand firm.
Their goal is to gain control of the country but that is God’s goal as well. The ball is in our court.
The God-haters will be satisfied when you, the Christian loses hope and stops praying and fighting, they want you the voter to stay home on election day and just turn over the nation to them. But again, we won’t be silenced because God’s voice through us won’t be silenced.
