Insanity has come to America in wide proportions.
Like never before in America we are hearing the drumbeats of socialism by the liberals in our society and in the upcoming presidential election as being the solution to all of our governmental and social dilemmas. But when it comes to socialism, there is no doubt that it is a tried and failed system of men because it has proven to be so wherever it has been implemented. So why in the world would we in America, in our right mind, want to go down that beaten path to destruction? Unless we are no longer in our right mind.
Could it be that in theory, socialism sounds good? What is socialism? The dictionary describes socialism in the following manner: “a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.”
In a perfect sinless society, where every individual excels at what they do with all the talents and abilities they possess, by that I mean, works to the best of their ability whether anyone is watching or not and is rewarded for their accomplishments, and where greed, envy, pride and power-hungry people are not allowed to take advantage of the work of others for their own personal gain, maybe socialism might stand a chance. But we know, this side of heaven, this is not possible because all people are sinners and will surrender to their sinful tendencies and appetites. Socialism has been tried and failed every single time.
On the other hand, the system of free enterprise, and what the Pilgrims and Puritans, who were the early original European settlers in America, called the priesthood of all believers, also known as the Protestant work ethic, has prospered wherever it has been implemented and it is the system that gave America its greatness since its principles are from the Word of God—the Bible.

It is a theological and sociological concept emphasizing diligence and hard work within the life of the Christian… The Puritan work ethic is rooted in Calvinist theology. Calvinism is a theological belief system named after French theologian John Calvin. …John Calvin had much to say about work. He and many other Protestant theologians (like Martin Luther, for example), taught that hard work was a Christian duty as well as a form of worship to God.
This is the system of ethics embedded in the American way of life and it deserves the credit for the prosperity in America and not socialism.
So, needless to say, if we want to see America raise itself by the bootstraps that God could prosper at one time, we must get rid of the sin and evil systems that are rearing their ugly head because they are taking us down the path of destruction like all others who have tried socialism and failed.
God’s ways are the only answer for the restoration of America. Only by his principles can we make American great again to be a light of God’s truth for the nations.
