The Lie of Abortion

Nena Arias | January 7, 2019

Shortly, we will be approaching the forty-sixth anniversary of the most horrendous decision our country has ever made; the decriminalization of abortion nationwide in the United States. At the time of this writing the number of abortions the counter reports are 60,957,074.9 in the U.S. since January 22, 1973. This is more than mind boggling it is a human tragedy of epic proportions, needless to say, we will not escape the consequences.

The practice of abortion has all been based on power plays, lies, greed, convenience and immorality and, above all, humans playing God. History has seen this before and it didn’t go well with humanity, we will not be the exception. What we sow is what we reap. That is a universal unchanging law that our heavenly Father has established, and it will not change for anyone.

Many efforts have been made in hopes of reversing the Roe v. Wade ruling, but to no avail.

It is sad and very disheartening that in the last forty-six years, we have elected many candidates that promised they were pro-life and that they would defend life. However, even with a majority of pro-life people in Congress, the goal of reversing this heinous decision has not been accomplished. The unborn keep losing their lives, women continue to be hurt in their spirit, mind and body, and men are also impacted by the decision to kill their unborn children.

The indoctrination about abortion these last forty-six years in schools and society as a whole has been presented as a viable option to getting rid of “the inconvenience” or using it as “birth control.” These are some of the biggest lies that can ever be told. It is coming at the high cost of millions of lives being massacred in the mother’s womb.

More and more, medical science and technology are debunking the lies that the unborn are just a blob of tissue. The medical fact is that a human being comes into existence at fertilization. A heartbeat can be detected at just six weeks, about the time a woman is barely finding out she is pregnant. All systems are in place at just eight weeks.

This money-making industry is one of the biggest reproaches against us as a country and is totally out of control even harvesting and selling body parts of aborted babies to the highest bidder. It is a blood-money industry.

Congress has had the case presented before them from every angle to prove that life begins at conception and therefore should be protected from that moment on, yet they refuse to act in ending this horrendous practice. Even the false reasoning has been presented that aborted babies can be used to treat patients and find cures for diseases.

According to Life News recently a scientist told Congress: “We do not need body parts from aborted babies to treat patients.” During a Congressional hearing a leading scientist informed members of Congress that research with body parts from aborted babies has never been needed to treat patients or find cures for diseases. She is Tara Sander Lee, Ph.D. an Associate Scholar with the Charlotte Lozier Institute. She earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry and did post-doctorate work at both Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital in molecular and cell biology, later establishing her own lab to study congenital heart disease and vascular disorders in children.”

“We do not need fetal body parts from aborted babies to achieve future scientific and medical advancements. Very little research is actually being done that currently relies on abortion – derived fetal tissue,” Dr. Lee said. “The vast majority of scientists are focusing on other ethical tissue sources and models that work just as well, if not better.”

Let’s face it once and for all, no amount of reasoning will ever justify abortion before the Giver of life. He is the one who gives life and only he can take it away. Let’s end this lie once and for all!

Do all you can to end this practice—pray, contact your legislators, give to pro-life organizations and above all, participate actively. We will be held accountable.
