The Origin of “Fake News”

Ramon Arias | December 12, 2016

Having lost the presidential election, both Houses, the majority of the governorships and state legislatures, the liberals, progressives, socialists, Marxists and communists created a mantra of “fake news” to discredit conservative media.  Now they realize that it has backfired because they have unleashed fierce scrutiny against their evil agenda that they have used to manipulate the public into believing all of their lies through “fake reporting.”

People are waking up to the reality that the left has created a “monopoly” on how they want to present the “news” to the public. For close to 200 years, it has worked for them and since the presidential election, let’s face it, the way Trump exposed their machinery of deception, things have changed in the “news” media.

By now, I hope you have read in regards to the “fake news” emphasis that is coming from every direction and from individuals, including Hillary Clinton, the loyal disciple of her mentor Saul Alinsky, who wrote the book Rules for Radicals—his epigraph says:

Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.

Alinsky’s worldview for America is no different than any other communist clearly evidenced when he acknowledges Lucifer by saying that he was “the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—”.  Lucifer is a name for Satan used in John Milton’s Paradise Lost and it became popular. What we must not lose sight of is the rebellion against God’s social order for the nations and how it was perverted by Satan’s philosophy of lies.

The reason I am glad that people are talking about the dangers and destruction of “fake news” is because I see a glimpse of hope that we can now go beyond just analyzing the news that comes from the left. We must also examine the entire “fake” ideas they have sold the nation and the world:

  • “Fake facts” and how they are constantly changing them according to the emotional condition of the population.
  • “Fake history.” People must know how American history has been rewritten and how the textbooks used in public schools teach about unrecognizable origins of the nation and the exaltation of multiculturalism and moral pluralism.
  • “Fake science” beginning with evolution that put this nation under the influence of Darwin, a culture of death, perversion, and the promotion of human behavior to be worse than animals. Let us not forget the fake “big freeze” of the 1970s, later switched to ” global warming” and now it’s “climate change.”
  • “Fake economics” that leads to greed, envy and promotes covetousness with all the “social” ills that come with it.
  • “Fake entertainment.” Hollywood, the music industry and the marketing of evil that continues to contribute to the decadence in culture.
  • “Fake people” that elevate hypocrisy, lies, and betrayal as their goal to get what they want.
  • “Fake influence” in many areas of life that you must do your due diligence to sort it out.

Here is a quick glimpse of some of the synonyms for the word fake: bogus, invented, pretend, simulated, artificial, counterfeit, fictitious, forged, fraudulent, phony, make-believe, sham, etc.

The origin of “fake news” can only be found in the legitimate authority of The Scriptures, the Bible. Genesis reveals the origin and purpose of planet earth and how our first parents were created perfect and were commissioned to administer and develop culture under God’s instructions. Only one law or commandment was given to them, and that was not to participate in the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In Genesis chapter 3 we read how Satan used one of God’s creatures to present his marketing of evil using “fake news”:

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”  And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”  But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.  For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Genesis 3:1-6 (ESV)

For a little over 6,000 years, humanity has suffered the consequences of fake information. The good news is that two thousand years ago Jesus Christ came to unmask and destroy Satan and his work. In Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-13, we read how Satan tempted Jesus using the same method of lies and deception but failed.

Jesus confronted the Jews and even though they were the chosen people of God, their culture did not represent God’s values, rather, the social condition was a manifestation of Satan’s ideas:

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44 (ESV)

Christian America is not exempt from the influence of the “father of lies” and this generation, at this time in history, has a great opportunity to know and learn about the “fake doctrines” that have been destroying the effectiveness of God’s people and they must take the necessary measures to reverse these destructive trends.

Conservatives and professing Christians can continue to work together in exposing the ideologies that have enslaved the nation as they process everything they hear and see with critical thinking and arrive at the historical, logical conclusion of what is authentic, truthful, real and genuine. Let’s keep monitoring all that is “fake” and put it under the microscope of history and expose the fallacies.
